A Guide for San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) Customers
Authorizing your SDG&E utility data allows Fram Energy to calculate your solar bill using your actual electricity usage instead of estimates. This secure process takes about 2 minutes and is completed directly through SDG&E’s portal.
Before You Start
You’ll Need:
- Your SDG&E account login (username and password)
- 2 minutes to complete the authorization
- The name of the partner you’ll select during authorization
Note: You’ll find the partner name in your Fram Energy onboarding email.
Step-By-Step: How to Authorize Your SCE Data
- Open Your Secure Authorization Link. Click the secure link or scan the QR code we sent to you in your Fram Energy onboarding email or letter. This takes you directly to SDG&E’s Share My Data portal.
- Log Into Your SDG&E Account. Use the same sdge.com username and password you use to pay your bill or check your usage.
- Select the Authorized Partner. Once you’ve successfully logged in, choose the partner listed in your onboarding email.
- Approve Authorization. Click “I Agree to Authorize” to approve sharing your electric usage data with the solar provider from Fram Energy.
That’s it—you’re done! We’ll handle everything else behind the scenes.
